       URBAN VIOLENCE TASK FORCE, NEW HAVEN

EXECUTES SEARCH WARRANTS, MAKES NUMEROUS ARRESTS

   During the evening hours of Thursday 05/24/07 The State Police Urban Violence Task Force working with New Haven Police Officers simultaneously executed three separate search warrants at 124 East Pearl Street (a bar named “T-OFF”), two residential homes located at 95 Downing Street and 422 Bletchley Avenue all in the City of New Haven.

   A combined seizure from all three search warrant locations consisted of cocaine,   marijuana, cash, a rifle and drug paraphernalia. A total of 12 arrests were made at these search warrant locations.  All of the accused are slated to appear at Superior Court New Haven GA #23 today Friday 05/25/07 to answer their charges.

   In addition, on 05/24/07, the Connecticut State Police Urban Violence Task Force New Haven executed an additional search and seizure warrant during the early evening hours. at 8 Adam Clayton St. New Haven. As Task Force Personnel arrived at the residence two suspects who were standing outside the residence fled on foot. One of the suspects discarded a handgun and was captured after a brief foot chase. As a result of this investigation the following was seized:  9mm handgun, 380 cal. handgun,  approx. $5,500,   crack cocaine, and drug packaging. materials. Atotal of 7 persons were arrested during this operatrion.

Charges: Possession of Firearm w/o a permit 29-35 and 

Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon 53a-217c.

3)      Kyshone Jackson DOB:10/21/75 

         76 Second St., Hamden,CT. 

Charges: Possession of Firearm w/o a permit 29-35 and

              Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon 53a-217c.

4)      Terrell Burruss DOB 01/18/85 

         62 Fairfield St., West Haven, CT.   

Charges: Possession of Firearm w/o a permit 29-35 and

              Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon 53a-217c.

7)      John Stavall 05/29/89 

         26 Webster St., New Haven, CT.

Charges: Possession of Firearm w/o a  permit 29-35 and

              Possession of Firearm by  Convicted Felon 53a-217c.   

Bond $100,000. 

   These suspects were processed and held on bond to be arraigned 05/24/07 at GA 23 in Superior court New Haven.
