STATE POLICE MAKE ARREST IN TOLAND BANK ROBBERY

     On 7-30-07 Connecticut State Police Eastern District Major Crime Detectives and the Tolland Resident State Troopers office continued their investigation into the 7-29-07 robbery of the Rockville Bank in Tolland, Connecticut.

     State Police Investigators developed information regarding a possible suspect in this investigation.  State Police Detectives gathered physical evidence at the bank robbery scene and did interview the male suspect.  Some of the stolen cash was recovered by Detectives.

     The suspect was arrested for the bank robbery in the early evening hours of Monday 07/31/07. He was processed at Troop- C Tolland and held on bond to appear in Superior Court on 07/31/07.

ARRESTED: Thomas Rhodes  DOB 7-19-83 of  15 Elm Road, Tolland, Connecticut.

CHARGES:   Robbery I

                  Larceny II

     RHODES is being held on $100,000.00 cash bond at State Police Troop C Barracks.  He will appear in courton 7-31-07 in Rockville.
