             STATE POLICE STATEWIDE NARCOTICS TASK FORCE
                                       MAKES ARREST IN MERIDEN

   During the evening hours on 11/19/07, the Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force conducted a narcotics investigation in the City of Meriden which led to narcotics Detectivesobtaining a search and seizure warrant from Superior court to conduct search the suspect’s residence located at 640 North Colony Road, Meriden

   SNTF narcotics investigators were successful in the search and located 1.5 pounds of marijuana, 3 grams of cocaine, a loaded 9mm pistol, ammunition, scales, drug packaging and $6,400 in cash. This contraband was seized from the house.

CHARGES: Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Marijuana

               Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell

               Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon 

   Accused MARTELL was held on a $200,000.00 bond and appeared in Superior court 11/20/07 at GA 7 Meriden
