                           STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE OLD LYME STABBING

   On 07-01-07 at approximately 2:20 a.m., State Police from Troop F responded to a reported stabbing at the end of Hartford Avenue in the area of Ziggies Bar in Old Lyme. 

   Upon arrival, State Troopers found that two victims had been slashed in the legs with a razor knife. The victims sustained non-life threatening lacerations, subsequently being transported by Old Lyme Ambulance to Backus Hospital in Norwich for treatment. 

   The suspect in the stabbing fled the area on foot towards the Hawks Nest Beach area. He is described as a white male, approximately 5’06” and thin build.  Anyone with information that would help in the investigation is encouraged to contact the Connecticut State Police, Troop F in Westbrook at 860-399-2100.
