On Thursday 9/14/06 at 10:00 a.m. the Connecticut Police Memorial Foundation will unveil a hand painted mural at the Connecticut Police Training Academy Preston Ave Meriden Ct .

The painting was hand painted by a Connecticut artist who is a retired New Haven Police Officer. He painted the mural from a photo of the Connecticut Police Memorial.

The painting is to remind all who view it that the ultimate sacrifice paid by Law Enforcement in the State of Connecticut is something that “we will never forget”.

Several Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement dignitaries will be on hand to participate in the unveiling ceremony. The public is invited to attend the unveiling.
