                                       STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE

                              SUSPICIOUS INJURY INCIDENT

Today 10/18/06 at approximately 10:48 p.m. Connecticut State Police Troop-A,  The New Fairfield Resident Trooper’s Office and New Fairfield EMS responded to a 911 call requesting medical assistance at a private residence located at 2 Hopewell Drive in New Fairfield, Ct.

The female victim was transported to Danbury Hospital Emergency Room for emergency treatment.

State Police Detectives responded to 2 Hopewell Drive to work with the initial responding troopers to conduct and examination of the scene.  The examination is to determine the causative factors of the injury to the female victim.

The case remains open pending further investigation.
