                                        STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE
                                       Armed Robbery - New Hartford

On Sunday 05/28/06, at approximately 4:07 p.m. State Police Troop "B"
received a 911 call reporting a robbery had just taken place at the Little Woman's Kitchen, located at 202 Main St. New Hartford.
A lone white male in his twenties entered the business. The suspect was described as approximately 6ft tall, thin build, with short blond hair, wearing either a green or grey t-shirt and khaki shorts. He sat down at a table for a few minutes, and then got up brandishing a large knife and demanded money and fled on foot.
Troopers responded as did State Police K-9 teams who searched the area of the businesses to the edge of the Farmington River and behind a nearby condo complex. WItnesses stated that the suspect may have been in this area of on Friday.
A composite was prepared by State Police Detectives and is attached.
State Police are continuing this investigation into this robbbery. Anyone who has any information or beleives that they recognize the composite of the suspect is asked to call State Police at 860 824--2500.
The investigation is continuing.
