Details:

The Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime Squad is investigating the death of an unknown African American female.

On May 18, 1985 the partially dismembered body of an unknown African American female was discovered on fire in a wooded area off of the westbound shoulder of I-95, near the Sasco Creek overpass (w/o exit 19) in the Town of Westport, Connecticut.

The victim was wearing blue or black jeans, a heavy wool sweater, possible white or off white in color.  She also had on a plain gold chain around her neck.
