The Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime Squad is investigating the murder of Olga Maria Cornieles-Ubiera.

On Tuesday November 1, 1994 the Thomaston Police Department responded to the report of a body observed on the shoulder of route 262 (Waterbury Road) in Thomaston, Connecticut.

Officers arriving at the scene located the mutilated body of Olga Maria Cornieles-Ubiera lying naked, approximately 20 feet off of the shoulder of the roadway.

Olga Maria Cornieles-Ubiera was last seen on Saturday October 29, 1994.
