Driving Directions:

From Hartford area and other points north:

  • Take 91 South
  • Get off at exit 18 - Route 691 west
  • Once you are on 691 west, take exit 6 - Lewis Ave.
  • As you come off the ramp the Meriden Square Mall is on your left.
  • At the stoplight off this exit, go straight across the intersection and travel about 100 feet and take a sharp right.  (If you continue straight you will end up at Midstate Hospital)
  • Follow this road up to the top of the hill and look for a modern building on the right hand side with a green colored roof.  This is the Forensic Science Laboratory. 
  • Park in the large parking lot and go straight into the double doors where there will be a receptionist.

From New Haven and other points south:

  • Take 91 North
  • Take exit 17 (toward Berlin Tpk/CT-66/I-691)
  • Merge onto Route 691 W via exit 68W toward Meriden/Waterbury
  • Once you are on 691 west, take exit 6 - Lewis Ave.
  • As you come off the ramp the Meriden Square Mall is on your left.
  • At the stoplight off this exit, go straight across the intersection and travel about 100 feet and take a sharp right.  (If you continue straight you will end up at Midstate Hospital)

From Berlin Turnpike:

  • On Berlin Turnpike heading South towards Meriden, look for stoplight right after the Silver Lake restaurant (on right). 
  • Take this right onto North Colony Road, follow for 2.8 miles.  Look for 2 stone pillars with 278 Colony St., 294 Colony St.  
  • Take a right and follow the driveway all the way to the top of the hill, on left side is a green colored roof.
  • This is the Forensic Science Laboratory. 
  • Park in the large parking lot and go straight into the double doors where there will be a receptionist.
