DEMHS Announces Technical Assistance for School Security Grant Recipients

Technical Assistance will Provide Guidance for Submitting Reimbursement Requests and Grant Requirements

The Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection (DESPP), Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (DEMHS) is pleased to announce the availability of two Reimbursement Request technical assistance sessions for recipients of School Security Competitive Grant Program (SSCGP) funding.

Purpose: These training sessions will provide awarded grantees the tools to successfully meet and comply with deliverable requirements for the School Security Competitive Grant Program. This includes: filing Quarterly Self-Monitoring Reports,  the submission of School Security Plans and Assessments, and best practices for compiling and submitting Reimbursement Request Packages for eligible costs.

Prerequisites: No prerequisites required; attendees must however have open School Security Grants with DEMHS to attend this training. Applicant grant information will be verified before course attendance is confirmed.
