Report A Tip

Prompt and detailed reporting of suspicious activities can help prevent violent crimes and/or terrorist attacks. If you see suspicious activity, report it to the Connecticut Intelligence Center (CTIC) or your local police. The methods listed below are available to report a Homeland Security Tip to the State of Connecticut.

Submit a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR)

A Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) portal has been developed in order to aid law enforcement officials and the public in the reporting of potentially suspicious activity. A Nationwide SAR training initiative has been developed to increase the effectiveness of local, state, federal and tribal law enforcement and public safety professionals and other frontline partners in identifying, reporting, evaluating, and sharing pre-incident terrorism indicators to prevent acts of terrorism.

If the reporting links are unavailable, please call the HLS Tips line at (1-866-457-8477) and/or download the CTIC SAR form.

NOTE: The Law Enforcement and Public Report Portals (below) are currently down and are being worked on.
