Waste Disposal - Information for Individuals

Many different types of wastes are generated in a typical household. Some may require special handling in order to properly dispose of them.

But, wait! Before you dispose of that item, you should think about some alternatives to disposal.

There are many ways to reuse or recycle items that are no longer of use to you. By reusing or recycling these items, we can reduce the amount and toxicity of the garbage that is disposed in Connecticut.
