Process Piping
Process Piping Licensure for manufacturing employees and outside contractors for Food, Drug, Brewing and Beverage producing manufacturers and establishments.
Limited process piping contractor license (PP-1)
The holder of the Process Piping contractor license (PP-1) may perform only work limited to and used directly in the production of a chemical or a product for human consumption. "Process piping" means piping or tubing that conveys liquid or gas that is used directly in the production of a chemical or a product for human consumption. The requirements to qualify for this license exam shall be two (2) years as a properly licensed journeyman or equivalent experience and training as determined by the Department.
Limited process piping journeyperson license (PP-2)
The holder of this license may perform work only while in the employ of a properly licensed contractor and only work limited and used directly in the production of a product for human consumption. "Process piping" means piping or tubing that conveys liquid or gas that is used directly in the production of a product for human consumption. The requirements to qualify for this license exam shall be the completion of a bona fide apprenticeship program or equivalent experience and training as determined by the Department.
